As I am new to this league I have been informed by a mate that the Drinking of Alcohol is not allowed on the terraces/inside the ground at ESL matches, even if it is served in plastic cups. Why is this when I am led to believe that certain leagues above allow it or did do(Ryman).

 

It's a shame if this is the case as there's nothing like having a pint or two with your mates while watching a bit of lower non-league football. It's not as if there's massive crowds to incite a drunken riot!!

 

Or is it The PC/health and safety brigade out to ruin everybody's end of week relaxation.

I dont think you can drink at Ryman level, or maybe Harlow have just taken it upon themselves to allow no drinking outside whilst the game is in progress.
