JK returns to Gate ....

Pretty pleased with that.

He was a shadow of his former self in his last season with us-but according to their reviews-his game picked up again at dover;so i'm sure he'll do a job for us in the ryman.

I do like the thought of having a central midfield of Keister,Lawrence and wilson. As others say-thats got a bit of bite at long last and more than one person operating there.

40 is the new 30 -so for one season at least, age is not a problem-Lawrwence seems pretty fit-and think Jk is aswell so pretty happy.

(quite a few 'leaders' in the team now )

My lasting memory of JK was away at Havant in our last game in conference south when he sat on the pitch alone at end of game- literally crying that we were relegated.

You could really feel he was genuinely hurting .

i think a few of us shared his pain that day.

Welcome back John, that should definately give us something that has been missing. Passion, leadership and a tackle that frightened the fans let alone the opposition.

Was interesting to read kentish football that he realised his games were limited with the players that Dover have, and the Hess had to trim down his budget to get a new midfielder in.

But a good signing,Midfield i hope.Might put Ben Lewis nose out of joint a bit.
