Promotion ideas

Seeing as how we are playing decent football once again, now would be the perfect opportunity to try to get more people through the gate.

 

How about something in the town centre where we can promote the club and sell cut price tickets to our next home game. Would this be something that would work??

If anyone is willing to spend an hour or two giving out promotional tickets on a Saturday morning of a matchday please let me know.

I would be willing to and im sure others would too. Would only need 5 or 6 of us to promote it at somewhere like tesco??

Thanks Mark, yes somewhere like Tesco's, the 2 shopping centres and the high street would be ideal points to hand out tickets.

how about doing a promotion in the local papers with a voucher printed probably cover a larger area thus the possibility of attracting more people.

As you would have seen HT the club have done a couple of paper promotions but these do cost alot, so it's not something we can do on a regular basis. If there were enough people who'd be willing to flyer drop this could be something to consider.

What about getting permission to put the posters up in the buildings that the Sunday footballers and minor leagues use as changing rooms. At least we know they are already interested in football.

I probably would. I think we would need a central stand maybe somewhere in the high street with a big sign or a place to put up a large match poster?
