Best and the worst

Ref Off Ref - I seem to have hit a raw nerve, I'm not saying that Steve Tucker won't take the Club to the promised land however it is never good to change Management mid season as was the case last season when Orchard left and the Club were forced to pick up the pieces and start again, that was a setback although no doubt you will laugh it off. You had a healthy attendance of 54 yesterday and I note the classy Lee Coulter netted twice, if you can steer clear of injuries that blighted last season you could well finish in the top two but would the Recreation Ground meet Step 5 criteria.

Raw nerve, defo on the injury front with my own flesh and.....as for meeting the criteria of step 5 good question, and if you like would be interested in your opinion on that subject, have you visited all grounds in Division One, if so which ones would struggle to meet the grade and why in your opinion, think the fact we dont have paying facilities due to it being a Rec ground may be an issue, as is Stony I believe who do not have sufficient changing facilities, would be interested in your point of view and what knowledge you do have on the grounds that you have visited. Cheers.

Ref Off Ref - I have visited all of the Division 1 grounds apart from Kings Langley and the route marches from the changing rooms to the pitch where Stony Stratford Town and New Bradwell St Peter are concerned will make it a virtual impossibility to meet Step 5 criteria. Horace could probably tell you better than I could which other Club's would struggle to make the Grade however clearly Cockfosters and Holmer Green are two having been unceremoniously demoted last season, the remainder, including Cranfield United, Sun Postal Sports and Brache Sparta would probably be okay with a fair bit of work.

Cheers mate, Bradwell actually had new changing built last season and are actually next to the pitch now, maybe if Horace picks up on this forum like you say he may be able to shed some more light on the matter, thanks again.

I haven't been to New Bradwell for a couple of seasons, I knew that nice new changing rooms had been built but wasn't aware they were in close proximity to the pitch, you couldn't swing a cat in the old ones could you.

Much better than the old ones, new goals too so looking smart, the stand is still that rotten old green colour though, perhaps you can make it when your over our way, so with the changing rooms sorted now would the club still be short of any criteria for the step up to level 5 do you know?

I doubt I would be made very welcome by Mr and Mrs Haynes and their son do you, I really think they need to lighten up a little bit. I haven't seen the new changing rooms and how close they are to the hallowed Recreation Ground turf however the stand may be an issue for you as well as the fencing around the pitch, that will need to meet Step 5 criteria and would be quite pricey.

Keeps - Try to stick to the topic and keep it football related, I know it's difficult for you. I expect you're popular in Essex Senior League circles as you like throwing your money around in order to make friends and get people onside
