Recommended Posts

Who in the Prem and Division 1 has the best clubhouse facilities....and if you want, the worst.

I haven't taken in every ground so can only post what I know.

Premier League, best.

1.Aylesbury

2.Royston Town

3.Tring Athletic

Division 1.

1.Bedford Town Reserves

2.Cranfield United

3.Holmer Green

Ref off Ref - When you say worst what criteria should we include, for example some Club's, no names mentioned, do not have Sky tv installed or a license to sell alcohol yet their Cluhouses are fairly decent, other Club's have Sky and sell alcohol yet have small or uninviting facilities. Also what if SSML Club's are groundsharing at Club's from a higher level such as Crawley Green and Hadley for example and Bedford Town Reserves play at a Step 3 ground, albeit their own, so would obviously win Division 1 hands down.

NeutralFan - He gave the game away earlier when he said that his Club drew at Holmer Green earlier in the season so we only need to look at the results, I haven't had time to do so as yet but will later.

Got it, he's a New Bradwell'ian

Didn't see them last campaign but the season before I thought they were a very good attacking side.

I'm surprised by that, I wouldn't have thought he was from New Bradwell St Peter

Did you come down for the game on Sat CG1984? Our clubhouse isn't too bad. Bit small when there is also two games of cricket on as well maybe....

Not the best to watch, bit scrappy and not much quality on show. St Mags did look a bit sharper and stronger and created quite a few more chances. Saying that our keeper was called on to make a couple of good saves which might've seen the game turn?

Personally I think the scoreline was a fair reflection of the game. Had some good banter with your manager and bench but maybe if they'd concentrated on the game instead of winding up some of our fans.....

Officials... Ref was pretty good but both linos made some howlers. Not sure how our centre half got away with at least a yellow when hauling back your forward by the shirt on the edge of the box, be interesting to see the assessors view on that if one was present.

Spot on with Bradwell Neutralfan, and Rhodes just opinions so base it on your own experiences.

I agree that Crawley Green do by miles have the best but forgot they are ground sharing, what as hame, can we hitch your clubhouse on the back of the motor and tow it over our way?

Agree with Bedford, at halftime you got no chance of getting a sherbert if there is a queue at the kitchen, doesn't have the comfy feeling too, CG at their place defo, Cranfield is pucker too.

As for the worst in some Divisions, I ain't starting it LOL

A bottle of cold Red wine and you'd be happy in Dante's inferno.

I'm surprised they let you in, they can be a bit precious. Did you have to walk like Danny Dyer?

I was a gentleman of the press on said day... nice report in the Sunday Express the following day too, as the Maggots pulled off the shock of the early FA Cup rounds, having turned over Boreham Wood 1-0 courtesy of the Jap Stam lookalike's goal (can never remember his name..Lee?? recent Maggots' manager).

Wasn't that impressed with the seating decor in the ground though... Half a dozen old cinema seats scattered around.. and not one with 'press' on it.. frown
