Very bold Richard - correct me if I am wrong, but was'nt it last season that it all went wrong after Basildon officials came out (In the Southend Echo) and stated they wanted promotion after a decent start........dangerous stuff mate. Saying that though, I would rather see Bas or Bridge up there (as ex clubs) than the likes of Tiptree!!

Yes it is, Nigel nearly always travelled with Dad to the European games and this picture was taken at the game against Nacional in Tokyo for the World Club Championship. It was the only " European " ( sorry , a bit out , mileage wise ! ) game that I missed in two years owing to the distance being a bit too much for the bank balance but, as ever, brings back incredible memories.
