Northwood 2 slough 6

 

The youth team came back from 2-0 down tonight to win 6-2 at Northwood. A fantastic result for the boys and well done to Tony and his team.

 

A very bright start by Slough , had several good chances in the first 10 mins , but by the 20th min found themselves 2 nil down , with Northwood scoring 2 chances out of 2 !

 

The The team started to apply more pressure and managed to score 4 times before the break ! going at Half time 4 - 2 ahead..

 

The team was playing its only 2 match together and held strong in the 2nd half , scoring another 2 goals.

 

The referee and his team was excellent and allowed the game to flow and gave both teams good advantage many times.

 

Scorers were Mo Shariff (2), Tony Menddie (2), George Torpey and Aaron Fergus.

Next Fixture : Tuesday 8th September FA youth cup ko 7-45pm

ay Holloways park ...as the first team have no fixture it will be great if we could get a few along to support the new youth team....

It was an observation that I made when I first saw the Windsor FA cup attendance compared to the reported youth team game attendance.

As far as I'm aware this is the first mention of attendance figures for the Windsor cup game?

The figure of 77 was reported in a national paper. If the figure was actually 105, I appologise.

would be nice to see a good crowd on Tuesday to support the young team..v thame utd in the FA yiuth cup ko 7-45pm on tuesday...
