WR, with the forwards we've got I don't think it matters if we come up against two big 6 foot plus centre backs because they will hardly win the ball all day if it just pumped up in the air to them.

If you play the ball on the deck you can play just as effectively with two midgets up front.

COC has been banging on the first-team door since he arrived and has done really well in the games he's appeared in, changing the game at Leighton and running Tring ragged. His fitness should be much better now and he'd be one of the two first-choice strikers for me.

we only have 3 players who can head the ball and score goals unfortunately they are all defenders Bowden-Hasse,Edwards or Harper perhaps stick one of them up there if we are just lumping the ball forward along side either DJ or COC dont really rate the other 2

Edgeworth can head the ball but is played to deep to head on the long balls, the only forward who can head is Gumbs but he will struggle to make 90mins.

Hayes might be worth a try with O'Connor, but DJ is currently favourite

As for Martin he is too weak and bottles the challenges, he also attended the Andy Deaner school of heading!

Biggleswade should be an intresting challenge as they are on the same number of points and should help us see where we fit into this leauge.

When CO'C played for Windsor, he didn't really need a big partner, particularly: just someone to keep supply coming from somewhere, preferably not banged up high. While he was fit he'd run everywhere to get the ball, and pretty often win it too - trouble was, if he didn't get service he'd move out to the wings to win the ball and there'd be no one (certainly none as fast or accurate) left in the area to collect and score, and good though he was there'd usually be too much to do...

So IMO don't waste him in a 4-5-1, unless the wings really come forward and cross, but when he's on form you couldn't ask for much better in a 4-4-2. And although he liked shooting himself (as a striker should!) he wasn't too selfish, either; he'd pass it on if his partner had a better chance, at least some of the time.
