... if Willo's there he's in for a rare treat. Reportedly the 'Ash Legend' has returned to his beloved team after a while out - following a clash with a Ref - this fellah is a one man crowd - prowls the touchline bellowing out all sorts of 'lateral' songs.

 

His favoured technique is to plant himself within a few feet of the lino and patrol in parallel - howling (fairly polite) abuse in the poor chaps ear.

 

How he hasn't walked away with a collection of flags shoved up his rectum I'll never know!

I see that Keeps will be at Pancake Lane tomorrow so will hopefully have something football related to say for a change after the proceedings, it should be a decent game and could go either way.

Keeps - Actually the above game gets a brief mention in our programme notes today, it would be quite helpful if Bowers & Pitsea could get a draw at Pancake Lane which would save me having to do another programme for Wednesday night as well as one for our FA Youth Cup tie with Clapton on Tuesday:

Manor are scheduled to take on Premier Division Leverstock Green next Wednesday in a Challenge Trophy First Round tie however this is dependant on today

Oxhey Jets 4-3 Aylesbury. A weakened Aylesbury produced a poor display until the last 15, the Jets seemed to want it more. The ref was poor for both teams but his decisions cost Aylesbury dearly.

A thoroughly enjoyable cup-tie played by two well committed teams. Why though do players perform way above their usual standard for certain matches??
A pretty even first half until the ref gave a soft penalty to the visitors. A superb chip over the keeper into the top corner of the net gave Sports a deserved equaliser but then Town went up the other end and immedialtely scored again!
Hertford's third came courtesy of some schoolboy defending - that's primary schoolboys by the way.
