Very good so far....11 points from 6 games is better than last year's effort. We'll be up in the play-offs fighting at the end of the season hopefully.

 

Missed Stuart Blackburne yesterday.

 

Things are on the up though with us moving into QE2 Stadium next season hopefully.

Anyone got any views how they think Division 1 may go this season, Hadley, promoted from Division 2 sit pretty at the top, anyone know how good they are.

Good but not that good although I think Div 1 is anyones this year who wants it the most. I think Hadley's team is unchanged for years so you could say they know each well which helps

Anyone possibily could win Division 1 this time around but whether they would be strong enough to withstand the challenge of the Prem next season is the question, Royston and Hatfields we do not have this season, Holmer came down last season but are up there this season, does that tell a story?

It may do, but as I stated on another thread, our side towards the end of last season was a pretty decent outfit and would comfortably have held a mid table position had the current manager held the reigns earlier in the campaign. We have lost a couple of players to higher levels and are not considering promotion (yet!) It's just nice for Holmer to be winning games and enjoying their football with a talented young squad, many of whom have grown up together, who still "pay to play" and raise money for their club into the bargain...

I was very impressed with Holmer. Nice club. Not the fittest team in the world but play good football and taught our youngsters a thing or two.

We got a draw there which I think was a fair result, could've gone either way the game though, think this Division is very open this season though.

It was on one of the forums, think it was the Harefield one, and yr rite, was reported it was Aylesbury, fair play, if my son could get money for a game then think he would be interested, dont knock those who can earn it, all I ever earnt in my day was a few cautions from the men in black
