I would like to say thank you to all here. I sopped posting 2 years ago after being continually ignored and every post breaking down to a slanging match between supposedly adult margate and ramsgate fans. I am pleased I came back and tried again, as I dont feel like a traitor for being too ill to attend matches now, and can actually take a semi active role in supporting the team I love.

Hallo Freefred, i looked at your previous postings to see who was giving you a slanging match as you quoted but coulnt find any postings, wen you last posted 3 years ago, ( mind you i didnt look that hard only over a month or so ( unless they were deleted),.. my reason for posting is, that Margate and Rams always have had ''slanging matches'' hopfully good natured, (well they are with me,.3 years ago we would been in the same Division so not surprizing then really 3 years ago we did some peeps enjoy it, we are only 3 miles apart,.., i believe had a few ''problem'' supporters, but we are different here now, sorry you cant make it to you games, i get on with a few Margate supporters,(well bluegate Alan is a bit dodgy i hope we get promoted back to the Premier, (and you guys stay there 2) cos gonna miss the Xmas derbies this year,.best wishes mate

thanks mate it wasnt me in particular that I was referring to, it just seemed that most threads broke down into swearing and name calling. That was what I found the most annoying, it all just seemed so stupid and petty. I have never had a problem with any Ramsgate fans, and I wish you all the best for the comning season.
