it was a genuine mistake due to the former Secretary leaving us high and dry infact I gather he told the Manager that Cardy was eligible to play when the Manager phoned him before the game

I just want to make an apology to the Club's former Secretary for giving members the impression that he may have been at fault for the Club playing a suspended player, ie Jon Cardy, against Cockfosters, I understand he didn't tell the Manager that Cardy was eligible to play in the game.

No, you didn't just "give the impression", you flat out told us that the previous Club Secretary had reported that the player was eligible. You are a liar Rhodes and you've been caught out once too often. Be interesting to know what sort of threat of bodily violence dragged this apology out of you, or maybe at long last your club have realised what a liability you are and insisted that you apologise. Good for them if that is the case.

Loosely - You have made half a dozen or so posts now without mentioning yesterday's game at the Carlsberg Stadium and the horrific defeat 'the mighty' Meltis Corinthians inflicted on Southill Alexander, the Club are so small that they don't even appear to have a Website where I can obtain free information on the game rather than having to stump up £25 for the privilege. I have it on good authority though that Southill Alexander had two players sent off which isn't a very good example of having a Club discipline code in place is it.

Well as you know by now Rhodes I tend not to comment on our games and this is no exception, particularly as it has nothing to do with the SSML forum or this topic which is all about the lies that you have tried to spread about your previous Club Secretary regarding an ineligible player.

While I am here can you comment on why the Tokyngton Manor website is still down (3 weeks now) and whether it will still be charging £25 membership when it returns if ever?

Loosely - Well I find that reply quite cowardly, seeing as you won't divulge what went wrong yesterday at the Carlsberg Stadium I don't see why I should shell out £25 for the 'privilege' of getting information that should, by rights, be in the public domain. My educated guess is that you naively didn't account for the physical side of the Bedfordshire County League which is probably just a 'cloggers paradise', to your credit, and knowing Steve, you probably try to play good football but if you continue to do so the Club will finish nearer the bottom than the top this season, if you can't beat them join them.

Who cares what you "find" Rhodes? You never answer questions including the one about whether Tokyngton will continue to charge £25 website membership in a similar manner to Southill Alexander. Why you should expect a higher standard then you hold yourself to should come as no surprise.

Any comment on who at Tokyngton actually takes responsibilty for playing an ineligible player now that you have been forced to apologise for lying?

Loosely - I happened across this link which appears to be a template of your programme against Ickwell & Old Warden, I see that you are still big on un-necessary word puzzles in order to pad the programme out however apart from that it seems to be a fair effort, congratulations:

Loosely - I've been waiting with bated breath for about eight hours now for your response to my post, I know you're a busy man but you never seem to be far away from a PC. Will these links to your home programmes feature regularly on the internet as they are a really useful insight into life at the Club particularly the 'Coaches Corner', would you mind posting the links to the games with Woburn and Meltis Corinthians as I can't seem to find them, thanks in advance.

Rhodes, I'm awfully sorry that you have been holding your breath for so long. I hope it has not done too much further damage to your brain cells. Have you tried holding your breath under water for a few hours? I'm sure many of us would pay to see that. Not sure that your previous post was looking for a response, I'll give it some thought but it looked like you were complimenting our efforts on our programme.

Perhaps if you can respond on my question on when we are, if ever, likely to see Tokyngtons website return after over 3 weeks of "maintenance" and whether it will continue to charge £25 membership which is I believe something that you constantly find to criticise about the Southill Alexander website?

Perhaps not eh?

Loosely - So what of Southill Alexander's chances tomorrow against Renhold United who I'm sure won't be pushovers by any means, how have the preparations for the game been going this week and do you get many players turn up for training as logistically it must be difficult to get them all there from all four points of the compass, where is your training ground out of interest.

Southill Alexander, the team to watch eh Rhodes, bit like your under 18's of whom you said would be the one's this season to watch too, can't knock the quality of the games by the looks of it, 6-3 win v Oxley, but a 3-7 reverse v Harpenden, you did mean a team to watch in terms of goals irrespective of which end they go in?

And yes will beat you to it, Bradwell under 18's, 3 games played, 3 defeats, though the entire team is in fact under 17 would cut no ice I take it... :sign_wasntme:

Loosely - So what's the verdict on your disappointing 2-2 draw at 'the mighty' Renhold United this afternoon having been 2-0 ahead at one point

You know better than to expect a comment from me Rhodes, will you ever stop posting off topic comments? Isn't this thread about yours and Tokyngtons failings? Don't you have someone fresh to apply blame to apart from yourself?

Loosely - I'm sure members are interested to know why, after so much hype and money being poured into the Club, the first five games of the season have yielded a mere four points and the Club find itself languishing in fourth from bottom place in the table. Like I said it's no use trying to play football as with your 'moneybags' and 'big I am' reputation teams are just going to kick you to pieces every week, you will have to start fighting fire with fire.

As has been stated on a number of occasions - no, we're not. Only you are. Do the rest of us a favour and drop this tedious line of questioning once and for all. Please.

Oh no I haven't. Ive always been one of Uncle Urchin's biggest critics! It was his braying about the Purple Bishops and how his influence was going to get them into Step 5, and how they had been "invited" into the FA Vase that I rose to. I don't buy into the concept behind Southill Alexander, but it's nothing to do with me.
