From the kent league site it seems we lost 3-1 at home in the second leg-a bit disappointing.

 

Not sure of strenth of team though.

I'm not sure if anyone other than me is interested, and I'm not sure if anyone would be able to put the work in, but is it possible to have a writeup of reserve games on here as I cant find anything more than a fixture list on the official site. Or if I am just an idiot can you tell me where they are?

If anyone does do a report I can get it in the programme too. After this week though as there is extra stuff going in because it is an FA Cup game!

As last season, if someone does write a repot and emails it to me, I can add it to the site. As yet, I haven't had any.

A good game coming up on tuesday night at HDP v Deal reserves in the floodlight trophy by the looks of it.

 

Up the 'Gate

we again fielded a very young side, 3 or 4 over 18.

The point is not winning but,developing the youngsters. Teaching the lads that its not all about neat football but The lads did compete well.

Lordswoods 1st goal was a ball that hit the underside of the bar, bounced out by a foot or so.

The 2nd was scored, seconds from the 1/2 time whistle.

Their 3rd was a cracker, a in the box ball hit on the volley, nearly leading to Ray having to repair the net. The Kids competed well without any of our recognised strikers (first team duty i believe and injury).

Our Keeper for his age( just 16) and is a prospect (I believe our senior reserve keeper was away on trial for a premiership club).

Hopefuly Bluegate Alan will be with us Tuesday (resting from his vice presidential duties) to write a report for you.
