True and I know I am not going any more, so I have no real right to say anything. But it is just my opinion. I remember Joe Radford, Terry Norton, the Fusco brothers, Lennie Lee, Gary Pugh, Vic Medus and all the rest. Even when everything was going terribly, we went out of all the cups in the first round and had lost any chance at winning the league by the end of september, there was still singing, every single player had a song dedicated to them. Just seems a shame those days are gone. Maybe it would help the team.

i read that West did not win any headers.

That surprises me after seeing him for 45 mins v Boreham wood where he won most of his headers.

Could it be that if his ankle is still bad-in effect he could not jump-so thats why he did not win many headers against Cray ?

You look at the team sheet between the last few games and there are substantial changes to the starting line up. I have missed some of the games and am out of the loop as to the injury / suspension status. Where was BLACKMAN, LACEY, DUNN, BARNARD, MORRIS (Injured)CLIFF all who have performed well in recent games. On the performance we saw yesterday then surely it won't be long before we start to see some of the squad players that haven't played yet.

The livelist spell we had was when we made the subs bringing on Kenny Pratt and Lombardo, they kept chasing and almost forced an undeserved equaliser at the death.

Blackman - injured
Lacy - suspended
Dunn - suspended
Bernard - injured?
Morris - injured
Cliff - suspended
Langiano - injured

Also Wilson, West and Louis Smith played despite carrying knocks. Louis Smith's ankle swelled up like a balloon on Saturday so to declare himself fit enough to sit on the bench shows how much he wants to play for us.

From the chaos that was mondays game i would assume that training consists of playing blindfolded with a live wasps nest instead of a ball, this at least would explain the players desperation to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible in any direction.

Maybe with the gradual introduction of bells around their ankles they could learn to kick it in the general direction of a team-mate.

Not proud of walking out half way thru the second half, however I did have a long journey to complete and a funeral the next day. My point is the performance the boys provided was (injuries and suspensions withstanding) not good enough. No amount of remenstrating about the players being played out of position etc etc is not an excuse IMO - we were stood next to Lloyd Blackman during the game and even he was shaking his head with the silly/panic passing that we were producing.... Sorry another fan ranting about the game but as has been said on here I pay my money and am entitled to an opinion and that is sadly "MFC are looking sunday league - at best".

So many negative posts here, I hope those that criticise are the same that praise when a good result occurs but it seems to me these names of posters only turn up here after a couple of poor results, we all knew, or those of us who actually take note of what has been occuring, that this season survival was all we could expect and i still believe we will achieve that, if we are near the bottom at the end of the year i might change my mind BUT although i might at times criticise how the club is run I am always reluctant to criticise the players, we should remember this is the Ryman League, if we had money we would have better players, but we do not so cannot compete with those that have,we can only hope that TY and NS have the backing of the board the players and us the supporters.

GT as posted earlier I watch MFC come rain or shine thick or thin bad and good results much like many other forum members on here, however when you witness something "bad" and Monday was "bad" should you just mark it down as a bad day at the office and move on to the next match hoping it is marginally better than the last - I dont think so. Im not one to individually mark players that dont perform (we dont pay them ridculous wages anyway) but I will say it like it is - as is my right as a forum member/season ticket holder and THE ONLY team I support is MFC so when they perform as badly as they did I do feel aggreived and p"

As Brickie says if we lose but go down fighting i really would not mind , if we lost every match but fought till the end i would not mind but to show absolutley no passion on Monday should not happen . At the end of the day they put on the shirt and get paid to put it on and play as a team , don`t get me wrong 3-4 lads did but 3-4 won`t win us games it has to be all or nothing , i will watch them at there next game because i love to watch MFC every chance i can but this is the 1st time i have felt i should say my piece as they looked like a broken team with no idea .
