Tring Athletic v Slough Town

Good game where we attacked from the off and got loads of chances against a very average side.

A result of 4-0 was about right although it could have been comfrotably more.

They had a few chances on goal but with very little real threat, but they kept on going. We backed off after the 3rd as players tired, and with the injection of Mo and Roy for Craig and Danny the tempo lifted again.

DJ and O'connor look a far more effective forward starting combination and should be used on a regular basis as they are better at winning, holding and shooting than Hayes and Martin.

The ref was the worst by far that we have seen for many seasons and his decisions were extremly questionable for both sides.

A win in the FA cup is an important boost for the team, club and supporters - well done to the lads.

P.S. Also a question for the quality Tring keeper - are you on a contract? Radders forgot to ask!

Excellent performance right from the start. Tring were very unlucky to go down to ten men although the referee made some very bizarre decisions right the way through against both teams.

Craig O'Connor had a great game as did Tyrone Sealey and it was pleasing to see DJ looking like the player we thought we had signed.

Really nice set up at Tring and friendly people.

A very comfortable win against a team that tried hard to disrupt our play.

Thought that DJ and O'Connor upfront were a good combination and could be good for us. Sealey and Sinclair were providing good service to them too.

Well done boys, hopefully the winning streak will continue.

Very professional performance by the team today. From the first minute we were the better side and could have had five by half-time quite easily. One of the two disallowed goals (NBH's I think) should defo have counted as Edwards was fouled in the area, not the other way around.

They will point to the sending-off, but I think that mattered little to be honest. I don't think it would have changed the game.

Before the game I thought it would be a tight match, but we played very well and 10 minutes into the second-half it was like watching a pre-season friendly as the game was over.

Except, Chris, that we had our best players there and won. So, not really like our pre-season at all!!
