In your own words - "I try not to say anything on here". Sorry Hollie but when football is discussed and your team to boot, you can't be bothered to join in. Yet when things are posted that you don't want to read you demand people just talk about football!

If you are not prepared to join in I don't see how you can dictate what is said?

Wader, again you are ASSUMING. Assuming that Brimsdown are "my team". Assuming that I never post anything about Brimsdown, because I chose to not get involved with YOUR thread, assuming I can't be bothered to get involved (as I told Bemused, you know nothing about me, or why I have'nt been about since early May). Correct me if I am wrong, but this is a FOOTBALL Forum, so yes I do expect (not demand) people to speak about football, and not peoples personal lives. When I have, in the past, joined in I have had some unsavoury replies by individuals, so YES I choose to not get involved. That is my decision. Who are you to say that I have to be prepared to "join in", to have a say. Have I not been joining in now?

Monkeymonkey8 - I know you are involved with Aston Clinton and there has been some good banter recently relating to Division 2, for example whether Berkhamsted can cut the mustard this season, Padbury United's flying start to the campaign, Old Bradwell United's change of fortunes, The 61 FC's poor start and of course your own exploits. Horace came on yesterday and we learned he had actually been to the Padbury v Berkhamsted game so, as you say, if only everyone could stick to footy talk we would all be a lot better off.

yes rhodes this season div 2 is proving to be good entertainment!!...........i didnt expect berko to have lost 2 games already but i think its a very open division.

Padbury were a very good solid outfit.....had a good chat with their manager after about the teams they have played.

Still we are only 6 games in so a long way to go yet!

lets hope we can just stick to the footy talk!

Neutralfan - I wouldn't describe him as a 'ringer' as he played almost every game last season, it was just an innocent oversight and a case of left hand and right hand unlike what happened with Kentish Town.

I beg to differ, the former Manager promised the loyal squad of Kentish Town players money during the FA Vase run last season and they were expecting a share out of the substantial pot following the infamous 6-2 defeat by Biggleswade Town, needless to say not a penny piece was forthcoming and that was the last straw as far as the players were concerned.
