Thanks Alan,you are part right in what you say. The other part was intrigue & I see nothing wrong with asking.It was actually an e.mail, not a phone call as I previously mentioned. Whether that makes any difference to some I don't know. I was,as others were, merely interested to know what was going on or not going on,so to speak, nothing more than that & to get the official line on things.Can't see the big deal in requesting the true facts as they stand just to clear this up.
As for Ian he is just s*** stirring as usual..
