OK, it is only one game and we shouldn't get too carried away (especially given the performances in the first three games), but given that the goalie situation is now sorted and with Louis Smith winning rave reviews for his defensive midfielder role last night, are any more recruits necessary?

Well i was crying out for an experienced midfield player-but although '2 wins don't make a summer';the need does maybe seem a bit less urgent if Smith can also play well in a defensive midfield role.

 

I guess in the ideal world though-you would still want another midfield player as Healey is very much an attacking midfield player-and that just leaves Wilson as a central midfield player/playmaker-and he will get injured/suspended/knackexxxd.

 

I read that ex chelmsford stalwart- Jeff Minton has just been released by Welling -and surely fits the mould of experienced midfield player ?
