Ok excuse me for being thick and asking a question that has probably been asked before. What has Basildon Town got to do with the ESL?

 

Or are they taking a pop at Bowers & Pitsea or Basildon Utd or really support Basildon Town. Please put me out me misery ..)

Right WA WTFC lets put an end to this before it all gets silly.

I happen to know an ex player of Bowers who told me that he was turned away from bowers pre season for not being good enough to make it in the first team. One of the coaches at Bowers also told me, in a casual conversation, that his chances at Bowers would be limited. That player then went to Southend Manor scored well in the first few games and a couple of days ago was signed by Heybridge Swifts. I have made the mistake of thinking that what the player and the Bowers coach told me was the truth and expressing on this forum that i thought it was strange that a player who has done so well at the start of the season was turned away by Bowers. I thought that discussion of individual thoughts and information was the basis of this forum however it seems to have offended due to BBB saying that the player basically sh*t on him and he wasn't let go. If BBB had come on here or pm'ed me to tell me that i would have added that information to my thoughts and maybe discredited the player for him. As it turns out now that BBB is a senior manager he believes that my input into this forum should be limited due to me only being a olympian manager.

Ha Ha Ha, Oh I know I shouldn't respond to this but I can't resist.

Firstly I am no one's sidekick. Rookie is the manager of Basildon Town and my son plays for Basildon Town.

To put the record straight, my son played for Basildon Town last season and Rookie only took over the reins during the summer.

If my son was playing for Bowers, then the avatar on the left would be a Bowers badge. Though to be fair, when he played for Basildon Utd I couldn't quite bring myself to have the Basildon Utd badge as my avatar, as they are Bowers' biggest rivals and Bowers are actually the team I support... when I can.

Capiche?
