on the 00/01 version, after 13 years of hard graft, i got leigh rmi into the champions league. i support bristol city,so i dunno y i do start with 'em, i just do. o yeh, does ne1 no wot the rmi bit stands 4, ive always wondered that. cheers

Leigh RMI FC formally known as Horwich RMI Football club was formed in 1896, this came about after the old Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway company had decided to construct a large locomotive works in Horwich.

 

Overnight a small village was transformed into a sizeable town, upto the works closing down a few years ago it had strong connections with British Rail and the Railway Mechanics Institute. (RMI).

 

I remember us playing Horwich in 1988, didn't realise that they were the same team...
