Heard today!!!

have heard today (on the terraces) that Mr Gordon wallace has returned to MFC, if true then this could be the best news we have heard for a very long time and could well influence the playing side/team and can IMO only be a good thing to happen. As I have said this is rumour - but wouldnt it be great to have some good news for a change......

ok the name sounds familiar but i cant place it. I have been out of the loop for quite a while, thats my excuse. Could someone enlighten me as to who Mr Gordon Wallace is please?

I know that mr Wallace is avery wealthy businessman and used to be I think President of MFC before he moved to Folkestone. I may be wrong but have it on good information that he has a special place for MFC in his heart - lets hope so.

I hope this is true, looking back i realised things started to look a lot worse financialy when he left. Although i'm not going to get too carried away, but this will be brilliant for the club if this is true.

Gordon Wallis has been at all our home games this season, first time he's been at matches since he left the club a few years back as far as I'm aware.

I would welcome the return of Gordon Wallis who with Keith Piper, got Margate FC going again in 1989 after the Thanet United era. With his managerial experience coupled with his connections in the Kent and wider football world, he would help steady the Margate FC ship.
