Classic game JR, 3 reds and 17 yellows and seriously not one bad tackle in the game, he sent off our entire front 3, we were 1-0 up with 10 mins to go and in the end went down 2-1, referee was a lunatic called Adrian Hudson, we appealed and got them all off, Craig Duff was one of those sent off that day and got a second yellow for raising his leg to pull the ball out the air...with no one around him..those that know CD will know his reaction

It also helps to not think about others in a better position when falling in the afore mentioned heap......As that makes it look even better.....

Out of interest, how do you appeal without video evidence?

You write in to County FA to appeal stating on what grounds etc If they uphold the original verdict you can appeal to the FA (We did in this case on the basis that all 3 players were banned for the County Cup final that year)

The FA generally are very good and call the referee in alongside the appealing club to defend their actions, in this case it took about 5 minutes for them to realise the bloke was a nutter and upheld our appeal. No video involved

I had heard some 'rumours' about that referee when talking to a couple of the Lewes players in the afore-mentioned hostelry a year ago !
