my mate tried that on at virgin atlantic.. he insisted on an upgrade due to an allergy .. after a bit of faffing around they asked him what he was allergic to.. 'poor people' being a virgin employee she found this hilarious..

alas no upgrade was forthcoming.. personally i wouldn't enjoy club class unless i had paid top dollar for it

As left wing as I am I do agree that this present government is a big pile of crap. For example, 2 months ago, I sent off for a hospital appointment to be checked for something which could be potentially quite serious. I got a reply the other day and I have to wait until [censored] JULY to just to have a scan to see if I have this condition. That's just ridiculous!

The thing about Blair is that he doesn't seem to know his own views. I saw this documentary about and it said how he never expressed Labour values and how in fact he never expresed a specific political point of view and that he was very heavily influenced by people around him (namely Cherie) I reckon he just wants power and recognition but he doesn't know what for. In that respect, even though I strongly disagree with her views, I would rather have someone like Thatcher because at least she knows what she thinks and what she wants. That's just my opinion though.

I've just checked for you Costello, its about an extra grand for first class, but thats nothing for you, is it?

 

Chubbhead - That was rather unlucky - When I had to go into hospital over Christmas, they found me a bed straight away, and insisted I stay for longer than I thought necessary. Are you sure you told them you were from St Albans? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Being a woman isn't a weakness Costello! It's a strength, because then you can flirt and act all innocent with the male politicians, get them on your side and make them trust you. Then, when the time comes you can bite their balls off and get what you want from them! Honestly, it's what Thatcher did with Reagan.
