Tonight - Thanks, Hard Luck and Good Luck

I just wanted to say thanks to those of you that made the journey to North West London for tonight's game. It was great to see a side bring a decent, friendly following to a midweek game.

 

The game itself. 1-0 flattered us immensely. I thought for the most part the game was pretty evenly fought. You had the better chances but our new keeper had a blinder I thought. A couple of very good saves and faultless handling. We pretty well pulled off the perfect 1-0 away win - at home. I don't think we'll see too many better sides than you this season.

 

Finally, good luck for the remainder of the season. I can see no reason whatsoever why you won't be in or around the play offs at the end of the season.

Cheers John... seem to recall it was roles reversed at Claremont Rd last year where you dominated but we nicked a 1-0 win, so these things even themselves out over time!

Thouroughly enjoyable game (even though we lost). Good luck to Hendon - but i did think the lights were not gonna come on at one stage

We were fortunate that the Wembley chairman was around to sort the floodlight problem. They have to be switched on in a particular order, and the wrong switch had been flicked first! We won't make that mistake again!
