Thanks for that DA1. Regarding the balls we do get most if not all back.

Am sure Wellsie, the PA announcer, will answer you that one when he reads the post.

See you all at PP

Personnally I thought there were too many square pegs in round holes. Morris at Right Back when he's a Defensive Midfielder. Robinson in Centre Midfield when he's a Left Back. The new lad at Left Back when he looks nailed on to be a winger. Wilson playing a Defensive Midfield role when he's an attacking/playmaking midfielder. Blackman dropping too deep and our other striker, which I guess was Sam Cliff; on the night, always out wide. No wonder there was no one in the box to get onto the end of his crosses. Lewis going up front and staying there even when Pratt came on. Pratt then going and playing on the right hand side of the pitch mainly in defence.

Disjointed Yes, reasons why I don't know! and I honestly thought I had an understanding of the game. Scratching my head.

To put my two penneth in I thought that Mullins played very well (a touch unlucky) and had to keep coming out to clear due to our outfield players not being able to track the Dartford players. If he'd have managed to block those goals he would have been a hero but all he can do is to keep making himself as big as possible and the goal as small as possible.

What I can take from this is that it's not so much the players not being up for it, or good enough, but the fact that they're unsure having to play in foreign positions.

As I said the other day, the quality of our squad is way better than 12 months ago. What we need is a settled team with people in the same positions week-in, week-out. I'm not sure a rash of signings would help us. Harlow did this in the middle of last season after they had that run of eight defeats in a row, it didn't stop them going down.

I agree that some were out position, but Bernard is a left back not a left winger according to his profile, Morris played right back for at least half of season and IMO it suits him there. Agree Robinson should not be in midfield though.

So we're all pretty much in agreement that Robinson is better at left back than Bernard, and Bernard is better further up the field than Robinson... So if we all noticed this, how come our (probably highly paid) internationally experienced manager did not notice this during the game and swap them over?
