Quite annoyed at that performance and walked out early. An absolute embarrassment. Dartford took the piss. I won't be spending my valued pounds to watch a side get dicked every week. I'll put that money towards getting sky sports!!!! Somethings got to change big time!!!

When we play football we can play attractive football , some of the play we had was good to watch tonight but when we concede we collapse very quickly as we did tonight . Experience has to be added to the squad very very quickly with inpact instant or the struggle will continue i think .

Early days though and early enough to sort out some big probs .

Up the Gate .

Dreadful performance. So, so many things went wrong tonight. In my opinion, we were luck it was only 4-0...

Ben Lewis was [****!!****]. At one point in the first half, he was shouting "Take control of what? Why should I be taking control?" ... Because you're the f***ing captain mate, thats why...And then he was moved up front in the 2nd half, where he proved to be even less effective than he was in defense.

Talking of defenders, it was fantastic to see Louis Smith back, and Haverson played very well in the first half, he was getting in all the right places and making all the right tackles.

And why on earth was Robinson playing in midfield? He's one of our best players, but that doesn't mean he can play anywhere. He needs to stay in the position where he most effective. You play your best players in their correct position and if neccesary the s***est players out of position, not the other way around...

It was a shambles.

Unfortunately peeps we were at HOME...... we were DIRE excluding the fact we havent got Dan Young in defence we had no attack, too many times blackman was in midfield trying to bring the ball forward with no support. Mr Wilson is our playmaker which has gotta change cos he really isnt good enough, however No 3 was ok in the second half as a wingback coming forward but I agree Curtis wont want to be part of this disorganised rabble......

some of the one touch ground and ball work was good to see tonight Phil but its the end result that is not working . 8 goals against already tells the story ahead but there are one or two lads who can manage to put a few good passes together its just a shame the rest can`t follow suit . Only Curtis the new guy , joe and Blackman show any willing the other lads are lost with no idea where to put the ball . As for the new guys that should have signed Lawrence and Rankine if wrong paperwork was produced then a bloody shabby shambles from the club , lets hope they still decide to play for us if correct paperwork is produced . Up the Gate .

My two-penneth for what it is worth...........

The first twenty minutes was the worst I have seen us get pulled apart by a side for a long time. Dartford were very good, very fast, very strong and very organised. When we did get the ball we seemed to be trying to match their high tempo game and that was never going to work.

After that as the tempo cooled I thought we looked more composed on the ball and were passing it around quite nicely.

We started off the second half much, much better and although we did not have attempts on goal as such we created quite a few chances and when they got their second it was firmly against the run of play.

After that they started to pull us apart again, probably as our heads had dropped as we were right back in it.

Bernard looked very lively but am not sure why he was not played left-wing with Curtis at the back.

A few questions for the management team tonight then. Why was Robinson not left back and why did we wait until 0-4 down and 5 minutes from the end to bring a striker on. To put Lewis up front and bring Louis Smith on (welcome back by the way)seemed a very strange decision and doesnt say much for their confidence in Kenny. Who will they play in goal on Saturday - Big Nev himself? To drop Robinson after one match again wouldn't have filled the lad with much confidence and Mullin obviously didn't perform any better. I'm also frustrated but, frankly, not surprised to hear that the potential new signings have been delayed by the "wrong paperwork". Shambles indeed all round - - if it was a school report it would read - MUST DO BETTER!

Good post Andy & I agree with it all. We did play some good fooball tonight & there were some positives to take from the game & though I wasn't at the Sutton game I would imagine that was a step up from Saturday & slow as it might be I'm positive after tonight that we will be getting points on the board sooner rather than later.Whipping boys? It may seem that way right now but I don't think we'll be taking too many 4-0 reversals in the future.
Yes,beaten tonight & beaten fair & square, sure they could have had 9 in all honesty but we too could have had at least 3 or 4 with better finishing, however there's hope from what I saw tonight.
For many periods of the game we were as good as they were & to be honest we played the ball around better than they did for certain periods of the game wheras they pumped the long ball down the middle but mainly down those wings. They knew where our weak spots were & duly capitilised on those weaknesses & they certainly played to their strengths well.
Pissed of that we lost, naturally, but good to see improvement. If we can cut out those defensive errors we'll be fine. Not world beaters but a team capable of surviving this time without help from others.
