Dartford game Tuesday....

Couldn't make the game Saturday, but probably the less said about it the better. So, moving swiftly on to Dartford at home tomorrow night....

 

How do we all think we will do? I imagine some may have changed their predictions after Saturday's result. Obviously going to be another tough game and one I think we may well struggle in. My heart tells me we'll get a point, but my head unfortunately tells me we'll lose by the odd goal. Any thoughts?

I think it all depends on whether we play any of these new signings that are in the pipeline. I would have thought that TY would have made it a priority after Saturday. What we do need however, to stand any chance, is someone with a voice at the back who can control the defence. Too often on Saturday we were caught on the break as players ran through. I don't think that there was one offside given against Sutton in the first half, and just two that I can remember in the second. That suggests that nobody is taking responsibility at the back to control things.

Find that strange then Michael because in all the pre season games I saw Ben Lewis was very vocal.

Ben wasn't very vocal against Sutton, but then again i think ben is better in the midfield from my point of view

I agree with Alan.Lewis was exceedingly vocal in the friendlies that I saw.I even remarked on the fact that he was maybe over the top at times.Mind you it was also noticable that when things started to go wrong so did his vocals fade. We need him to be strong & vocal without over-doing it for the full 90 minutes whether we are in a good position or bad & especially the latter.
