Goals against cloumn

A bit early to go on about 'don't concede the nil';

(and the more observant will note that i did not at all last season because it was unrealistic).

Similarly- whilst i would expect us to concede fewer goals this season than last-again-its unrealistic again to be looking for more than 10 clean sheets.

That given; maybe a few early season reminders need to go out; that we had a nightmare couple of summer months contemplating relegation because of goal difference of just one goal.

Had we have conceded one goal less last season-we would have been safe anyway.

Goals conceded remain vital-goals scored win a few games-but the goals against column makes the champions or the converse of relegation.

Sometimes -when you are losing 3-0-you settle fot the 3-0 defeat-rather than try and claw` something back-commit hari kari-and end up losing by 4,5,6 -which could easily have happened saturday it seems.

You fight every second of every game and put bodies on the line throughout to keep out goals-even when you are losing heavily-i hope as a defender TY can really spell that out.

It seems that bodies on the line defending was not there on saturday
