A Knaphill/Wickes DIY XI take on The Arsenal Ex-Pro & Celebrity team......

 

A Knaphill/Wickes DIY XI take on The Arsenal Ex-Pro & Celebrity Team, kick-off at Redding Way 3.00pm. Gates open 12.00 midday.

 

Attractions include Fire Engines, face painting, bouncey castle, penalty competition, Knaphill Wanderers Under 8's showcase match, BBQ, ice-creams, hot & cold drinks.

 

The main event kicks off at 3.00pm and features a combined Knaphill and Wickes DIY team take on The Arsenal Ex-Pro & Celebrity team, all in aid of charity. The charities to benefit will be Great Ormond Street Hospital & Leukaemia Research.

Don't you just love Sundays !!!

 

Yesterday, I was at Horley FC's ground, ostensibly to assist one of the H.T.L.F.C. coaches but ended up having to referee the first half of the match before the official referee arrived !

 

Still - It gave me a chance to sus out the pitch for Tuesday night, (and have a couple of beers in the clubhouse after the match - No change there, then !)

So will Knaphill be resting all there players for the saturday then!! How are they gonna play against a load of ex pros after a tough sat game!! Good for us (Hartley)

Sorry, my mistake, we rested the 1st team tonight against Warlingham. So who knows who we are going to put in the team Saturday!
