On their nomination as "European City Of Culture". So many questions, though - Is this anything to do with Nick "Twinkletoes" Turner moving there? And can we expect them to construct some sort of huge mosaic from stolen hub caps?

St Albans would be "European City Of Culture" every year, if indeed we were in Europe.

 

However, being a small continent of our own, in beautiful Hertfordshire, ruled by the Queen and Costello, we don't qualify.

The mental image of Costello sitting on a throne holding s sceptre and wearing a tiara is one that will return to haunt me at various points throughout the day, I daresay. Am I to presume that he has spent the last two years attempting to "annex" Oxford?

I personally believe that Oxford Should have got it.

 

Oxford is a place where you find alot of wealthy young straight, conservative males who are always interesred in politics and kicking in the homeless while they eat their sushi on the way home from a pub.
