The red was justified, but for taking extreme exception to a two footed late tackle that deserved a red not the yellow it got. The rest of the yellows were for arguing with some weird decisions, which puzzled even the Arlesey contingent. They shouldn't have done it, but they were NOT for fouls, three of them coming in one incident. As far as the action was concerned it was a pretty clean game, the main problem being basically a cr*p substitute referee.

The broken leg was caused by an accident when two players sandwiched Ryan Bird as they all went for a header and Jack Nelly fell awkwardly under the pile of bodies. No arguments from either side, and a dropped ball to restart.

So whoever you are, clear off and stop stirring.

This could have been anyones game. Their Substitution was bang on. The big lad changed the game. We made the wrong substitution. Not saying Hayes was brilliant, but at least there seemed more spark and movement. Martin was a dissapointment.

Just uploading the video clips I got from the game yesterday. Didn't get the first goal (bang goes that attempt to get all our goals this season) but did get the next two.

 

Anyway, it is mainly from our attacks so is not an accurate reflection of the game, merely some footage from it. I'll post up the link when it is ready (currently about two hours remaining)

I don't think anyone's mentioned this yet, but is Ricky Perks on a goal bonus? I love seeing keepers score goals, but was very surprised to see him in the Sutton Coldfield box for that last corner given that we were not behind and this was not a cup tie!

Your comments have nothing to do with the subject of the thread - Slough's draw with Sutton, so why post them?

Once again, quite happy to put my name on the post, to abuse others without any knowledge, but too chicken to say who you are.... says it all really!

Sorry to intrude on your thread, STFC, but anons are cowards and think they can say anything and get away with it unchallenged.

Harper is hardly a thug. His disciplinary record is mostly down to wearing his heart on his sleeve which is what you need sometimes.

 

Even last year when he was sent off for mouthing the ref after the game had finished, its understandable considering the way we played that he got angry about it.

 

As for saturdays performance, I think we look like a very good team and i fully expet sutton to be up there at the end of the season.

 

Only downfall for me is the strikers, Jesus worked his [****!!****] off but exactly what did martin do all game?????

Bit rich slough fans slagging off other sides for 'thugs' when they had a convicted hooligan play for them!

 

Can i suggest people just talk about the game from now. Good luck this season Slough. Be nice to see both sides in the Southern Prem next season!

A fair result in the end I thought, although we were unlucky not to be awarded a penalty for a definite push followed by a handball at the end. Thought the team looked solid against a

well organised Sutton side who will be up there at the end.

Well done to everyone who made the journey, great support today, must have been at least 100 Slough fans out of the 218 crowd.

I agree Kay, personally I dont care how Windsor do or how many fans they get, and as for Burnham I am only concerned about them when we play them!. This is getting so boring

 

Actually agree with Woody can we just talk about the game!
