Was not able to make the game today as we were house hunting but well done Steve and Del and the team for an excellent start to the season.

 

Currently laying down a safe bet that on Tuesday night Arkright will be relieving me of some of my new found wealth in the club shop! unless of corse he des not want to take the bet.....

I thought I was too, but I'm not supporting a team where I've been told in no uncertain terms I'm not welcome.

Suggest you talk to your Chairman about that!

to answer your gripe that if you came in to the towm tomorrow you would be welcolmed with open arms it was not the whole club that baned you it was a few fans and the other thing is that you are denying your family good times at E.T.F.C.

Mr Littlehampton, BWIN.COM take bets on Ryman North matches... you can only bet in trebles though, they won't except single bets.

 

For Saturday mathces they usually have the odds up sometime on Friday morning and for midweek usually a day before.

Thanks Ron Merlin and The Cold End for that information. I was hoping to tempt fate by risking a few pounds on Town's promotion prospects this season. Have just had an e-mail back from Bwin and,unfortunately,they won't strike a bet. So,my search for a bookmaker continues.

 

Think you are absolutely right MbrunoB. Think I'll hedge my bets and steer well clear of Mr Arkwrights shop tomorrow evening!!

The Club Secretary has now replied to my letter refuses to repay the generous terms loan I made in July 2003 when YOUR inner circle got YOUR club lost its first court case with a certain other Ryman Club Chairman. I made that loan on the basis of directors collective responsibility, and no direct involvement in the case. So I have a load of money tied up in a club still under the control of a Chairman that I have no confidence in and don't wish to be associated with.

I take it from your analysis that your piece in the Gazette that led to your departure was pre-meditated, then.

 

In my book that makes it even more unforgiveable to use the privilige/platform of writing a persnal attack on the Board in a media column designed to discuss on pitch matters.
