Four In And One Out At Slough

Sad to see Yash go.Thought he deserved more of a chance especially from his efforts of late, last season.Bit surprised by the decision to keep T.Hayes.Hopefully he's a lot better than he's played,so far in pre-season.My reservations come from the fact that the Hayes/Martin combination, have only yielded one goal in five or is it six games,so far.Still,I hope I'm wrong about him.

After being 2-0 up today, shame it ended in a draw.

Bit disappointed that some of the team from last year didn't make it into today's starting XI eg Jordan,Harper,Romeo!,Gumbs,as it feels like watching Hemel Hempstead and not Slough!!

This comment is not sour grapes, just an observation.

I truly hope we get promoted, with or without last year's players.

Yes we may have a few Hemel players, but players follow managers around look at Sweetman - Jacko, McGoingley, Brown, Durrant, Bubb, Wharton, Dennison and Romeo all played under Sweetman when he was assistant manager at Burnham, and nobody called us ex-burnham.

Hi it's Yash. I'm very sad to leave Slough but it's just one of those things that happens in football. Do I think Slough will get promoted? 100% you have a good squad and a good manager. Don't know about the assistant though because I don't understand him haha!

The thing I am going to miss most about Slough is Ryan Fenton smile

Just for the record I think it was 15 goals in 30 games as I played 6 games left or right midfield.

And yes Gumbsy it was a corner!

Graham keep wearing those white socks!

All the best

Yash

Disappointed with this one. I would have thought Yash's goal record last season would have put him in with a good shout of leading the attack this season, and I thought there was more to come. Hope it works out at Hungerford.

Best of luck at Hungerford (though judging from reports of last night it doesn't look like you'll need it!)

Also think it's a shame he's gone, thoroughly decent bloke to have around the club and as others have noted, a good strike rate in what was a dire season.
