Well at least Hoddesdon stopped the rot, held out for a replay after a 2-2 @ Potton.

... so the lengthy thread I started last week about KL's lights WAS academic after all - lucky we got a final answer or it really would have been a waste of hot air!

 

NB I think I remember reading on there that this Cup Replay is expected to be at Hertingfordbury Pk?

 

I'm sure it'll get a mention on Hoddesdon's site soon?

I went to the Potton v Hoddesdon game. A game that Hoddesdon had much more possession and territorial advantage but Potton had the clearer chances. Think Hoddesdon were a few light on numbers and didnt help losing their skipper to a hammy injury within 15 minutes.

Potton had a couple of quick lads upfront but played little football. Hoddesdon just lacked the final quality in the final third. Probably a draw a fair result would expect Hoddy to take it with home advantage

hoddy should of won it the second goal they conceeded was like a ping pong show in the box after a corner was not cleared after 3 attempts where someone should of just hoofed it out so a replay at the lovely hertford town will commence on tuesday evening!!
