Littlehampton opened the scoring on 34mins with a powerful header from freekick

 

then on 40mins the ref sent of a player from each side for raising hands at each other which was well out of context of the game

 

Cobham equalised in the 74th min when a well worked throw found rob wilson unmarked in the box he rifled in at the near post..

Totally inept performance from Camberley today and East Preston deserved the win. No 6 from EP was immense, in both sense's.

We went 1-0 against the run of play. East Grinstead had plenty of possession but I managed a couple of decent stops before a poor goal kick a minute before half time. To be fair they worked the ball well and picked out a man at the far post unmarked who smashed it home for the equaliser.

 

Second half they got their noses in front following a missed clearance and another one smashed home (I had no chance).

 

We then hit the bar and they scored a quality breakaway for their third. We were a bit despondant then and their final one from a free header about 8 yards out wrapped up the scoring.

 

We had our chances although they had a fair few as well - to be honest we were struggling with bodies with only 3 subs (1 being a keeper who came on outfield) but fair play to East Grinstead they played some nice football on the deck and their movement and sharpness was superior to ours.

 

Johnno you'll need to be at the top of your game in the next round as I was quite impressed with them and the football they played - sorry we didnt squeeze it as it would have been good to give your boys a game next round.

 

One bonus is that I finally played in the FA Cup after 16 seasons !!!!!! (Artificial pitch not allowing us to play in it since 1994 and not entering the Vase etc).

Not bad for a big fattie is he. He's even buying his own shirt so he can breath a bit easier when blowing out of his big fat ****.

At least you don't have to travel to Gosport at the end of the month.

FINALLY!!!!!!! we've beaten them

 

good performance, 1 up at half time scored again early in the 2nd, took our foot of the peddle allowing Hassocks back into the game, but 2 late goals sealed the win

 

Shame that one assistant who wanted to be the star & the person we talked about instead off the game

Went 1 up with a wonderstrike from Danny Wilde in the first half and then had two one on ones saved by the keeper but perhaps we could have done better.

 

Erith slightly better in 2nd half forcing a clearance of the line.

 

Erith should have gone down to 10 men when the centre half pulled down our striker on the edge of the box but the referee somehow decided there was a covering defender and only showed a yellow card.

 

Erith equalised with the last kick off the game in the 6th minute of stoppage time.

 

We'll try again on Tuesday.
