Hendon v Billericay Town: 18th August 2009

Just a quick message to give you the lowdown on Tuesday's match. Kick off will be at 7.45pm at Vale Farm, Wembley. Directions and travel details can be found here. Although parking at the football club is limited, if you continue just past the ground there is a large free car park just to the right that is secure and well lit.

 

The bar will be open from about 6pm and has a range of draught and bottled beers and ciders as well as all the usual spirits, soft drinks and bar snacks. Hot food and drinks will be available in the ground just behind the turnstiles.

Are there sofa's in the bar? Or at least comfy chairs?

Yeah, I think there's a couple of sofas in the corner (I must admit I can't actually remember), the chairs are high backed and very comfy - a marked improvement from the bar at Claremont Road.

Yeah - the basic idea is to try and tempt a few more neutrals through the gates especially given the number of professional clubs within a fairly small radius of Vale Farm. We'd also like to think that charging less than most, if not all clubs in the league for an adult ticket would be a small incentive for travelling fans anyway

Can't we re arrange the first half for Wednesday 4pm and the 2nd half for Thursday morning 9am...

Unfortunately the adjoining nursery have first dibs on the pitch on Thursday morning. We could do the 2nd half before the first half though on Tuesday at 3am if that's any good?
