STSA to be come STST .....

At Next week's STSA AGM we will be pressing from our members that we establish ourselves into

SLOUGH TOWN SUPPORTERS TRUST.

When this happens we will need . people to join into getting this club back onto its feet....what ever happens from now until the start of next season.

All subject to decisions beyond our immediate control....

If MD gets his approval we will still be need to ensure we do our best for the name of STFC..while we are playing at Windsor......if things fail - we will be needed to gradually take over from MD....over the next 3 years and to be in place to take our club back....after his regine.

all if's but's and what's I know...but we need to be prepared.

Its your help that will be needed....donations - share issue - elections to the board.....elected by the share holders - etc etc etc..... lots and lots of work and this needs to be spread between our supporters......

The Club is worth it....

Cheers and best regards

STSA Chris Sliski.

Chris, further to the above, am I right in saying that the decision will be put forward to the STSA members at the AGM on the 11th and would take approximately two weeks to establish?

I will be more than happy to donate what I can and hope many others follow suit.

Yes it will be put to the members for a vote...as one organisation will technically disband to be formed to the trust !

It may take more than 2 weeks but once we have established ourselfs in the new format we will do an offical launch.... I have just spoken with David Boyle of Supporters Direct and will set a meeting with him and anyone else who wants to meet at at supporters direct conference to be held at Highbury on Friday 20th June ... 10am -5pm....

But David will also come along to Slough at any time to offer his help in setting up the Trust.

if people have questions or an interest to see whats on offer please look at web site

www.supporters-direct.org

lots of information ...and lots to digest....

Thats why we need to do it right and get the proper board in place to ensure it swims and not sinks....

kind regards Chris sliski

Chris what is the current position of Martin Deaner in relation to STSA, as at the previous meeting he anounced that he was resigning?

What was he resigning from and did he actualy resign?

I know he very genourously put up 75K for the next 3 years at Windsor, so what link to the club does he have?

Finally with STSA becoming STST what level of personal financial liability will the Board (Directors) have or will it be the same as a limited company, where the shareholders are only liable for the share capital they have invested.

Sorry for so many questions, but I was unable to come along last night.

Staines Reb, the liability is £1 each for every shareholder. This is what Chris said at the meeting.

Martyn I think would resume a sponsor sort of role, similar to Geoff Mingay of Lakes, and let STST run the club.

Martyn resigned from his position as chairman on May 7th and will not resume that role unless the decision benefits him on the 16th.

Chris, or anyone else, correct me if I'm wrong on the above, but I believe it is the case.

Martyn Deaner is both a business man and a supporter of football. The decision which will benefit him on the 16th is if he gets the piece of land adjacent to Wexham Park to develop on as he will be able to raise capital on that site to buy the existing site. He can then develop the two sites together as per his plans displayed when he had his meeting with the lodge, training pitches and expanded stadium.
