The Manor 3-1 up, dominating and even coasting with 15 minutes to go and then gave away two of the worst goals you'll ever see within a minute.

 

They look exceptional going forward, with Danny Clarke and a tricky young lad (think he's name Tom?) on the wing but a complete mess defensively.

I think you could see from pre season that Eton Manor were struggling defensively and it seems it hasn't been resolved. If they can get some good defenders in then with the talent they have going forward they will be a very good side.

Good performance and on another night it might of been 8, referee was poor, Witham scored but the ref and linesman didnt see the ball cross the line also didnt see 2 blatant handballs (1 each side) and a blatant penalty for Stansted.

Bumped into him in Basildon Town Centre couple of weeks ago and he tells me that he was surplus to requirements at Bowers. That might bite um on the bum if he keeps knocking them in.

He's settled in very well at Southend Manor, scoring in pre-season as well as league and cup. Also a decent lad to boot. Hope he carries on the season as he started except when he's playing against the Bees.
