just the sort of player we need scores loads and playing at a level below us so i guess would relish a step up. I hope someones taking note.

a few other things to take into account though as in all of these things.

 

Does he drive, what are his work commitments,where does he live-can he make training.

 

Being part time-all these things-and many more- come into the reckoning.

 

Is he hungry,does he want to move out of a comfort zone

Maybe Liam is differant but the jump from STH to Prem seems to be a big jump even if it is just one step .

If you don`t try out players you will never know bb this is what the friendlies are for but as they sre over maybe someone from the club could go and watch him and then go from there .

Our performance at Chatham confirmed without doubt our need for quality acquisitions for both positions.

we need a playmaker in midfield for sure but who can we persuade to come to hdp with the threat of closure still hanging over us .

This is the real problem for the team not the onfield but the off field , if we were in the clear then im sure we would have had no problem enticing players with better quality to come to the club .

In psf's you learn more in defeat than in a win (or minimally have it confirmed what you already know )

Is this BAITUP chap available then?

I believe we now have a striker that will grab many goals given the opportunities.Blackman seems hungry enough & looks threatening everytime he gets the ball.

I'm with Michael on this one,a midfielder that can provide him with those opportunities.

Blackman looks to me to be a very exciting player to be amongst our ranks this season,however,without him up front we most certainly WILL struggle for goals,therefore we do need a further forward also,to take up the challenge if & when we lose him for whatever reason,i.e injury,suspension,illness etc,

(god forbid none of them).

No disrespect to those here at present but I can't see a forward here at the moment that will be as effective as he is and be a danger to defences in the way that he is.

An additional classy forward & midfielder & we have a decent squad indeed. A decent keeper too but have we already found that one?

Seems weird bringing up players who will be good playing for Margate 5 days before the season starts,id have assuned they will have clubs.
