Royals is right Donny will be quite a strong side and the point Saturday I was pleased with. We hardly created anything. I think selling our main striker the day before didn't help. No offence Royals, you seem a good fella but I'd like to see Brendon Rodgers fail 'cos of his Judas "I'm totally commited to Watford" comments six days before jumping ship. Don't think his welcome will be too pleasant at Vicarage Road.

Back to non league-are there any three non league teams in closer proximity than Kings Langley, Berkhamstead and Hemel Hempstead? Tring as well.

Hornet - Will you be going to Barnet this evening or is it too far to travel from your Broadstairs base, it could well be one of the shocks of the Carling Cup First Round as you normally struggle at this stage don't you, Bristol Rovers last season springs to mind.

I'm not sure that members understand your exam question, are there any non league teams in closer proximity to where than Kings Langley, Berkhamstead, Tring and Hemel Hempstead, do you mean Watford.

Well if one can assume that the North Berks League is vaguely on a par in NL Pyramid terms with SSM2 then I'd say there are three clubs just about within the confines of Abingdon.

United - in the Southern One South West, Town - in the Hellenic Premier and Saxton Rovers in the NBerks.

 

I'd make the furthest distance twixt them at about 1 1/2 miles - though you can't walk the short distance from Town to Saxton in a straight line cos there's a river and gert bit swamp in the way I think!

 

But there must be three (or more?) clubs clustered closer together but at seperate grounds in NW London - so f'rinstance I'm not counting the three that play @ or near Vale Sports - (Wembley, Hendon & S.Kilburn) since they are sort of complex/ground sharing.

Ilford and Waltham Forest (Isthmian League groundsharers) are about a mile and a half from Oakside, home of Redbridge (Isthmian League) who share with Barkingside (Essex Senior League). Less than half a mile from Oakside is the start of Forest Road and travelling down this road for just the first half a mile or so would mean passing no less than four Essex Olympian League grounds, nameley Frenford Senior, Manford Way, Leytonstone United and Westhamians. The latter three are no further than 50 yards away from each other.
