Just a word in response to Wader, who is suggesting that people pay to simply access a forum on the SAFC website, a charge that has been levelled at us previously. We do not have a public forum - our club is owned by its shareholders who are then able to purchase a club website membership and access the owners' forum if they choose to do so. The reason the forum is not public is that it is where the owners discuss, debate and vote upon issues relating to the club's development, and where full information is shared with them. Fixtures and some other information are available to any visitor to our site via the link on the front page, and we are presently developing the site to put more information there. The Bedfordshire County Football League doesn't have a forum on Fans Focus as you know, or else we might post more information on here - however, they do have their own excellent website which is maintained extremely efficiently and comprehensively, and we regularly submit information to them.

Priceless - You are spot on and that's exactly why he isn't a football man in the true sense of the word, I bet he has never been near a cloth cap or ferret in his life, sat down for a plate of pie and mash or a had jellied eels or cockles and muscles in Leigh on Sea or Whitstable. He is a middle class guy with deep pockets trying to fit into a working class environment, in other words a square peg in a round hole.

Good grief Rhodes, there really can't be much doubt left that the cheese left your cracker for the coast a long time ago.

I think you'll have a pretty hard sell convincing people that if they have more than a couple of brain cells to rub together they can't be a football fan, oops sorry, "football person".

BTW, its pie and liquor where I come from but I'm quite convinced that you know your cocks from your mussels lol.

Wash it all down with a pint of hogwash eh?

Loosely - That's not much of a defence and I think even you realise that's the game is finally up and if you can't beat 'em join 'em. Just to show there are no hard feelings on my part shall I PM my address so you can put this evenings eagerly awaited match programme in the post, presumably you will take delivery of the consignment from the printers before 5.30pm so you can get it in the last post, first class of course.

As I said before Cliffy, you are welcome to one free if you attend the match, otherwise, as I think I have intimated before you can fill your face to an elegant sufficiency.

Insanity is a defence Rhodes, I suggest you plead it, myself I have yet to hear a valid charge made from you.

So you don't deny that you use a printer for the programme who presumably charges the Club unless it's a sponsor. I expect the army of foot soldiers you have on tap have managed to secure a number of semi lucrative sponsorship deals however I'll be surprised if they are from the immediate Biggleswade area which has three other Club's to support, they would feel more inclined to help Town, United and Langford rather than an unknown quantity.

I did not suggest that people pay to just access a forum, although from what you have said they of course do have to pay to access your forum. Why not open a general forum for interested people - you might even convert some to paying members! The other question remains unanswered though. How many members do you have now? If the model is working it would be interesting to know. Biggleswade Utd tried a similar model, but it came to nought I believe and they had match video streaming as well.

Hey Wader, if you have so many good ideas to help Southill Alexander why not join up and then you can have a say in what the club does? Looking forward to it, perhaps we can put you in charge of the bar?

Yes, but it is free grin

As I said if there was a hook bigger than the paucity of information available on a second rate website (oh yes it is), with no match videos or open forum, then perhaps I and others might sign up. From the outside the only bits people get to see appear a bit Mickey Mouse. Get a bit more professional about it, clean up your own attitude on here and others may be more interested. You are not even prepared to answer a question about membership numbers for goodness sake.

Best news I've heard on here, and I thought I'd get no answers.

Clean up your own attitude Bub, from what I've heard you have a fair few attitude problems yourself.

If people are content to spend their lives being condescended to on here by the likes of you and Cliffy then good luck to them.

Is that a Rhodes heard, or have you witnessed this so called attitude problem yourself?

Bub? Is that one those quaint Americanisms?

Attitude? I thought this was a fair discussion. Perhaps free input from others is not needed because you are overflowing with members? We can't know that apparantly so can only assume it wasn't exactly a Saturn V lift-off for you. What can be clearly seen though is the public perceivable side of your model, and I'm sorry if you don't like someone telling you the truth, but it isn't that tempting at the moment.....Bub.

I'm sorry you're getting upset, but why not just promote your club in a good way? There really is no need for you to blow a fuse every time someone poses a question or tells it as they see it.
