I apologise to Boswell and other members too but what lies are you actually referring to, how about your insistance that I was not involved with the Club in it's infancy as well as introducing the Assistant Coach to Steve who worked hand in hand with him at Buntingford Town last season as a loosener for the 'heady heights' of this season in the Bedfordshire County League although at that time they still fully expected to join the SSML. It was clear to everyone that it rocked you to the core when your application to the SSML was unceremoniously knocked back by the Committee, it took you down a peg or two didn't it.

Careful LATO, this is how it starts, next thing you find out that Rhodes put in place a Development Plan at your club, introduced the managers, feels that he can speak for you when you plainly ask him to leave, and finally tells everyone what you are thinking when he clearly uses his own morally bankrupt standards in arriving at his conclusions.

A waste of space and everyone bar one at least breathes a sigh of relief that hes no longer involved with your club.

What do you think of Loosely's ridiculous rants today or don't you want to be drawn in, he reminds me of a boxer on the ropes being pounded but, through pure stubborness or stupidity, won't go down for the ten second count. The Directors of the Club can't be 'untouchable' if they didn't see the knockback from the SSML coming a mile off and recoiled in horror when it arrived, Horace seemed to know a month beforehand.

What evidence do you have that we had any indication from the SSML that they would not accept us into the league?

 

What evidence do you have that we took it as a "knockout blow"?

 

Please find one thing that I or anyone has had to say against the SSML, their decision or our satisfaction at starting our history in the Bedfordshire County Football Leaague?

 

When you've done that then perhaps people will start to believe your outlandish and completely snide claims.

I didn't "know", I just was aware that clubs cannot get into Step 6 in the way that SAFC were hoping to do. I was also aware that, despite having capacity for 22 clubs in Division Two according to their rules, the league's officers only wanted 16 for operational reasons. I also knew that there was strong feeling against you for all your previous misdemeanours, and you were telling the world that you would be the match secretary!

As Club Secretary for SAFC, I am still waiting for the promised letter from the SSMFL regarding the outcome of our application. All documents and financials were submitted early on this year and were accepted by their Management Committee. It would have been nice to have had something in writing. I have actually have no communication at all from the League, not even an email, which is disappointing in view of the time I took in preparing the documentation.

they are only capable of issuing fixtures a month at a time, so dont hold your breath!

Keeps - What I don't understand is that you were one of the most vocal, if not the most, against everything Southill Alexander stood for yet you now act as if butter wouldn't melt in your mouth. Why are you suddenly criticising the SSML when you should be sending them a donation out of your alleged 100k a year salary for declining the Club entry to the League. Incidentally what happened to Bowers & Pitsea yesterday.

Sorry Rhodesy - i went to AFC Hayes game with Aylesbury Utd instead - which was an intriguing 2-2 draw.

Re this thread - I am just sitting back and enjoying the sport.......

I have PM'ed Ian W literally begging him to get UU back involved as he is the only person who knows how to sort out this mess.....

TheDoogisKing - Was there a programme issued on Saturday, did Craig Tompkins and Sam Hoque play for AFC Hayes, two players they poached from Tokyngton Manor. You couldn't miss Craig as he has the most lethal left foot I've seen in the game and has played in Seria 'A', for Napoli I believe.

As for Loosely's antics on here it is becoming a bit of a circus isn't it but at least members can see him for what he really is. I gather he's a nice enough chap but is not in the real World where running a Football Club is concerned, football at our lowly level is not all about keeping shareholders sweet, paying to access 'privileged' information on the Club's Website and Lording it in Boardrooms.

Bullying? What do you call the intentional changing of a posters username in a quote in an attempt to denigrate? Lol.

LATO - I don't think that he played at Herns Lane, he's a tall strapping semi coloured lad and often wears a bandana when playing, he only joined AFC Hayes recently during pre-season so I doubt you would have seen him play for them although I know Farm Park is one of your favourite haunts.
