Extra good luck to Barking, my old club Eton Manor, Bowers with Colin and Hookey and BGU, hope my declining a job there doesn't come back to haunt me.....

 

Hope my protege's Justin Gardner, Neil Day and Colin Cook leant well under my wing at Eton Manor and put all that knowledge and experince to good use!!!

 

Really looking foward to seeing how BGU do, I will put on record that I think they will be a very good side and will finish the the season around or just above mid table. Some good friends over there, including my old mentor, so I hope they smash Dullbridge today.

 

Be interesting to see how the new teams do and the teams who are being tagged as potential top 6. Hopefully I get to see some games this season.

What a choker, 10 mins into a pre-season friendly and young Jordan Gregory (Formerly Basildon Utd) suffers a dislocated elbow when he falls awkwardly on the hard ground.

Thanks for good wishes Jenks, tough opener and few complaints about the scoreline. Did play some good football, matched Takeley for long periods and probably should have been ahead at the break. Failed to take our chances and that came back to haunt us later in the game.

Good luck to Takeley, play direct football, competed for every ball and run just about run out deserved winners.

Plenty to come from this Barking side, would like to have started on a winning note but not to be so it's onto Southend Manor tuesday night and an early chance to put things right.

More than welcome to come along Jenks, will be rolling out the old tesco bag, 2 cones and a bib warm up routine as a tribute to all you taught me.

Final well done to J and the BGU boys agree with Jenks they could be one to watch for and a great start to their campaign.
