Promotion

Does anyone know how many sides will earn promotion from the ESL this season....it is usually just the one, but I remember 3 maybe 4 years ago when three went up.

 

A handful of clubs have already openley expressed and targeted promotion - should be an exciting year.

3 went up in 2005/06 season(Hornchurch,Tilbury and Waltham Abbey), i believe this was to do with the FA re-structing the league above. I am assuming it will be 1 like normal unless the FA decide re-structure again.

Tiptree, Enfield, Bowers and Barkingside have all said they are aiming for promotion. Assume that Witham are also looking to bounce back.

 

Burnham usually apply aswell (I think) - not sure whether Takeley have the ground grading?

I think Takeley are getting their act together and will have bar and stand done in the not too distant future..

They are my dark horses this season...then next season could be 20 teams in the ESL, with Mountnessing and hopefully Waltham Fores and ILFORD going down..
