Well at the time Rhodes said it was all down to the ref why the game was cancelled now it's London Colney make your mind up Rhodes who will you blame next Benfica, Haringey, Kentish?

Efc - The Referee said that he would leave it to the two Managers to decide whether the game should go ahead however I understand that the London Colney Manager declined the offer which backfired badly as had they won that evening then I strongly believe they would have gone on to beat Buckingham Athletic at Stratford Fields

No Rhodes you said the ref MADE HIS MIND UP AS SOON AS HE GOT OUT OF HIS CAR and both teams were ready to play and nothing was wrong with the pitch as you played on it on the monday

Efc - Both teams were ready and willing to play as far as I can recall but the Referee turned up at 6.45 and wanted to call the game off, you could see London Colney's mind ticking over nineteen to the dozen looking to turn the situation to their advantage and when the Referee left it to the two Managers they declined and immediately suggested playing at Cotlandswick the following evening

Yes, that really was a big surprise as london colney only finished 11 points in front of hoddesdon in division 1 !

Patrick - Yes but Nottingham Forest finished a Country mile ahead of Blackpool didn't they but Blackpool still beat them in the playoff on Saturday
