Ref off Ref - I assume you are an Official on the SSML so if, as I suspect, you are on the Cockfosters v Padbury tie on Tuesday that must make you either Mr Smith, Mr Wright or Mr Chisholm.

Mr Smith and Mr Wright were the formidable forward line for the Gooners back in the 90's, who the heck was Mr Chisolm though, don't remember him in a red and white shirt.

As for your assumption, yes I do wear black, but only my wife's undies mate when she ain't about.....but keep trying, our paths will no doubt cross soon at a game!!! (I'm the ugly one)

So you're a Gooner then, I'm more of a Radford and Kennedy man myself when it was proper football.

I don't expect many people these days will know who 'Stroller' was and the same goes for 'Charlie' but here's one for you, who was 'Stan'.

"Stroller" referred to George Graham. Isn't this cosy, footie talk for once, I feel a nice cup of tea coming on.

Ref off Ref - I was referring to the great Peter Simpson but now you mention Peter Storey, I don't know if you're old enough, but do you remember his late penalty at Hillsborough in the FA Cup Semi Final against Stoke in 1971 to draw 2-2, he didn't bat an eye lid and was largely responsible for Arsenal doing the double that season.

Well I struggle to find fault with your praise of Peter Storey but surely its Charlie George scoring in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds not to mention the final after coming back from a broken ankle that deserves a mention?

Yes I failed to mention that and I think he even sent Banks the wrong way if I recall. Loosely does make a good point for a refreshing change though about Charlie George as he scored against Portsmouth, Man City and Leicester in earlier rounds as well as in the Final.

Yes, Holloway Schoolboy I believe when Bob Wilson was teaching there too.

Let's not forget Arsene's trusted assistant, Pat Rice, he played football the right way, up in the air and anywhere will do, he wouldn't get into a lot of Sth Mids reserve sides, and the Paddies made him an international too
