The Challenge Trophy draw is the talk of the town in the Welwyn & Hatfield Times, I think Amersham v Welwyn Garden City could be one of a number of shocks in the First Round:

LATO - Will you be attending a fixture yourself, why not come along to Tokyngton Manor v Leverstock Green which is arguably the tie of the round and where a shock could be on the cards

No I won't be attending a fixture, as I previously said I will not be watching much football in the next 2 years or so. Having said that I believe FoRM are attending a game tomorrow and will certainly be at the SLB v Tokyngton game on Wednesday to watch the off field entertainment.

You may argue that its the tie of the round but I disagree and would cite Royston v Chalfont

LATO - I may be wrong but I don't think there will be anywhere near as much interest in Royston Town this season compared to last and the season before that due to Craig Hammond's departure to Conference level. They were previously everybody's 'second team' and it was the first result you looked for at 4.50 on a Saturday and 9.35 midweek but not any longer.

Dave - It was meant in a good way and in some respects it will take the pressure off of you in the Premier Division, you won't constantly be in the spot light and be regarded by many as a one player team

Only you have regarded Royston as a one man team on this forum, you and only you !! Being so far, as you are, up Craig Hammond's [****!!****] I am surprised you can see light at the other end!! The club will have an adequate replacement for him in the next few days then maybe you will see as many others have, no how everyone else has that Royston have never been and never will be a one man team. TIT

Jojo - Yes you will enjoy your visit to Hillingdon Borough in the Second Round of the competition and could even pull off a shock the way you are playing, I expect Paul Tompkins will have them watched before the tie knowing his meticulous approach.
