Suits me but I was trying to leave any non abusive posts. It was getting difficult though!

Really - Lets be grown ups and put things into a real perspective!

 

Although you, your committee and the tobin's committee may still be all guns blazing about this who wins etc nobody else cares! This seen as nobody other then you people get involved in posts on here.

 

Its in fact if you took a few seconds to think got to the point where whoever does take control will have the support of nobody. The club has been dragged through so much crap in recent months that everybody has washed there hands with it! The public, other clubs and even the local press!

 

From a neutral point of view! - IF stock and his gang had done things lawfully etc to gain control then this things would have never happened! Its clearly shown things werent done lawfully as yet another AGM has been called meaning that procedures werent followed first time - Therefore stocks gang are to blame for this mess

 

From a neutral point of view - IF Tobin and his gang had run the club better, if he had been big enough to take responsibility for his decisions then this takeover thing would never have started! - Therefore Tobin and his folks are to blame for the mess!

 

Do you get my point? Whoever 'wins' in effect loses too. The club is doomed, it had little support anyway and after this i expect even smaller!

 

What chuckles me more is you are all fighting over a club with no future or potential! - The club will never go higher then it is purely due to funding and pure ownership!

It has been highly detailed the FOOTBALL CLUB doesnt own its ground and everybody now knows that the sports and social are biased towards the cricket, therefore if the football team did acheive league success then it would fail on ground grading and building as there is no way that they will be allowed to build on current ground, and we all know a small club like that cannot buy a new ground! There is no money at the club and ultimately no future so why the fight? Is it worth it?

 

The players there either dont relise this or are there purely for football therfore let them play - both teams!! The club effectively has two 1st teams - why not take advantage of this? I guarantee judges and gurney would jump at that - if they dont then are they worth it? What manager would turn down the opportunity of an extra 20 players for their squad?

 

We all know that wont happen but that would be the best way forward for the club surely?

Both committees need to relise the football club is about the players and the supporters not ego's and power struggles! And if neither is careful then all will go!

 

Personally id rather neither was in control and a new face came aboard the sinking ship!

You are partly right in saying the club has no money, it does have some not as much as Hertford, Broxbourne etc etc so you have to ask yourself why is Tobin & Co fighting so hard for it? The people at the club now (Stock & Co) know there is no money to be made and have in fact put their own money into the club, this act alone goes to show they are there so that a club does stay.

 

Mr Tobin and Mr Dix did not want to have a reserve side this season, they wanted to bring in another team to ground share to make money! This would have not been good for the club!

 

Your right that this has not been good for the club, But the players have kept together and played through all of this and as to date had a good run of results. Even though many have said they are not good enough. The thing that people are not seeing is the heart,passion and smiles the players are now playing with.

 

People know the club will never be going higger then this league for many years to come, but that does not mean that the club should just fall apart and slip down the leagues.

 

As for the club not owning its own ground, I think you will find it hard to find many clubs that own their ground. alot of clubs rent theirs from the local council.

 

As for the players that Gurney has it has already been said they are more then welcome over. They have not been signed on with the ssml and they are being promised things that can not be given. It is these players i feel sorry for cause the ones under LJ have played in the cup and league. So what are the players under Gurney n wondering what is going on? I would like to know what they are being told?

I would be more than happy if you gave me a ring my No's in past St Margaretsbury programms, serval first Team players have it or you could look at a local Clubs website it there I have nothing to hide like you...take your "Really" Mask off and reveal yourself.

I'll be waiting for your call...are you brave enough..I dont think so!!!
