[Margate Football Club]

Margate Football Club has agreed the transfer of Aaron Quain to Faversham Football Club. We would like to wish Aaron every success with his future in football.

 

Tomorrow night sees last of the home pre-season friendly fixtures, when the 1st Team take on Ashford Town at Hartsdown Park, please come down and support the team. Meanwhile, the Reserves will be travelling to Deal.

Never quiet made the grade IMO, maybe a stint in the kent league will help him develop.

He always looke likely to make SOMETHING happen though. I'm a bit surprised he's dropped down 2 divisions though. Hopefully he'll develop quickly with more regular first team action. He's a nice lad too. Good luck at Faversham Aaron. I think they could be in with a shout of the title this year.

Agree with Wellsie, surprised he has dropped to Kent league though doesnt money talk there? Would have thought someone like Ramsgate may have fancied him, though glad he didnt do the wrong thing!

I presume Tom Hickman may have had something to do with the decision.

I really rated Aaron at the start but he got increasingly frustrating to watch.

Most thought i was mad, but i thought he could be made into a quality full back a la Ashley Cole.he seemed to be able to tackle ok to me

Aaron was his own worst enemy , he has ability but his temper got the better of him but good luck to him anyway .

Not really surprised, didn't do the business for me, get himself into a position to cross the ball then turn back on himself, get tackled lose the ball, then foul the player who took it off him. Gave away far too many free kicks, just my opinion.
