Basildon Town's opening game is at the Spotted Dog (Clapton FC) v Cranes Utd in Cranes' very first EOL game.

 

Better to get that one out of the way asap.

Do the EOL usually bring out their fixtures on a month or so basis please.

Yes mate, largely down to groundsharing agreements.

We normally find it best to train it to Forest Gate station, turn left out of the station and have a few bevvies in the pub up the road and then give yourselves about 20 minutes to stagger back the way you came, straight across the traffic lights and keep walking to just round the bend at the bottom with the SG ground being on the next bend on your right.

Don't rely on the bar having any alcoholic liquid if it is open at all. Unless they've sorted their license out at CFC this coming season.

That should of course have said their first "Home" game, as they are away the previous week.

No, I f**ked up. I assumed that because Town's first game was on the 29th, then so would have been Cranes Utd's.
